After almost 2 years in Cleveland Street, Glasshouse has moved to much larger premises at 8 Percy Street, W1T 1 DJ, at the south end of Charlotte Street. Telephone number here is 020 7079 9212.

Our lower ground floor space boasts a small courtyard garden ready for summer, and a boardroom to accommodate small workshops for 10-12 people.

Tim Kitchin appointed non-exec at AccountAbility

Glasshouse Partner, Tim Kitchin has been appointed a non-exec director of AccountAbility, the global accountability thinktank and sustainability standards body.

Tim will focus on aligning AccountAbility’s thought leadership programmes to its broader marketing objectives.

His first task is to help position the appointment of Anwar Ibrahim, former Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, as AccountAbility’s honorary president.

G14 puts football governance under scrutiny

Our European football faces an interesting few months - and not just because of the World Cup.

Its governance is being reviewed by the EU (www.independentfootballreview.com) and the Charleroi Case (in which FIFA is accused of abusing its dominant position) could fundamentally change the relationship between the game’s stakeholders. 

Glasshouse Partnership continues to advise G-14, the group representing some of Europe’s leading football clubs, on content and communications issues around both the Review and the court case.

Glasshouse looking for input into 2012 Olympics consultation

Glasshouse Partnership has combined with ex-Labour MP, Huw Edwards to review how the Olympics may change the use of sport as a tool for dealing social marketing and social exclusion.

Early findings suggest corporations may find sport (pro or grass roots) in the run-up to 2012 creates new ways of powerfully demonstrating Citizenship and enhancing existing CSR programmes.
